I gained hands-on experience with microcontrollers. The academy has excellent teachers who clear doubts effectively and a great staff that takes care of every student. It also offers good placement opportunities.
I learned the full digital design flow—from writing RTL using Verilog to synthesis and physical design. I worked with Synopsys tools like Design Compiler, IC Compiler II, and Primetime to understand how real ASIC design is done. As part of my project, I implemented the RISC-V Steel core from RTL to GDSII using 32nm and 14nm technology nodes. This included steps like floor planning, placement, clock tree synthesis, routing, and signoff checks. I also worked on improving power, performance, and area (PPA) during the flow. This experience gave me a solid foundation in both front-end and back-end VLSI design.
This three-month program provided me with in-depth knowledge of ASIC front-end covering key topics like RTL design, verification, synthesis and STA. The academy has highly knowledgeable instructors who explain concepts clearly and address doubts effectively. The hands-on training and practical exposure to industry-standard EDA tools helped me gain real-world experience in VLSI design. The staff is very supportive and ensures that every student gets the necessary guidance.Additionally, the academy offers good placement opportunities, which makes this program even more valuable.
As a fresher stepping out of college, I was looking for ways to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but also very approachable. They explained concepts in a practical and easy-to-understand manner, which really helped me build a strong foundation. The course covered both technical and soft skills, which I believe are equally important when entering the job market.One thing I appreciated the most was the hands-on experience. We were not just learning theory—we worked on real-time mini projects, participated in team activities, and had regular assessments that kept us motivated and focused. The training also included mock interviews and resume-building sessions, which gave me the confidence to face actual job interviews. By the end of the program, I felt more prepared, skilled, and confident than ever before.
